French Folk Ditty Frère Jacques in Russian, German and English

I learned this ditty at school in the 1940s, in Florida, in English and French. The French original apparently concerns a lazy monk who sleeps through the morning church services and must be awakened. I wonder how many millions of children have learned it (are still learning it?) in various languages in schools all over the world.
